To enjoy these balloons, simply add helium. Inflate the balloons on the same day as the event. Latex balloons have an average indoor float time of 12-24 hours, while foil balloons can last for multiple days if filled and stored properly. However, balloons used outdoors will have a much shorter float time due to the elements.

Foil balloons require a low-pressure regulated foil inflator to be properly inflated. These regulators have an auto shut-off pressure valve, ensuring that the balloons are not over-inflated. Disposable helium tanks with a latex inflator will not properly inflate foil balloons. Using a high-pressure latex inflator to fill the foil balloons can also damage the self-sealing mechanism or tear the seam, causing a leak.

Balloons can usually be filled at your local party supply store, florist, or even some larger grocery chains that offer helium. For larger balloons or larger quantities, it may be more cost-effective to rent a helium tank from a party rental company or a local welding supplier.

Keep the plastic bag containing these products away from small children. The thin film may cling to the nose and mouth and prevent breathing. Dispose of the bags immediately once the product has been removed.
